Brooklyn-based punk quartet the Men are gearing up to drop their latest LP Devil Music, the followup to 2014’s Tomorrow Hits. We’ve already heard the lead single “Lion’s Den,” and it hinted at a return to calamitous distortion of their garage roots after recording Tomorrow Hits in a studio environment. Their latest offering “Crime” continues down that path. It’s a two-minute barrage of noise, big drums, crashing cymbals, and guttural ululations. One memorable line goes, “Good God, I gotta relax my face!” and you probably won’t be able to relax yours either while listening – in a good way. Check it out.
