Låpsley released her debut album, Long Way Home, earlier this year, and during the subsequent tour she took to performing a cover of Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work” live. As part of her new Spotify Sessions EP, which was recorded in London, she made a version that’s a bit easier to revisit. As it stands now, her cover takes the spectral magic of Bush’s original and applies Låpsley’s wobbly and translucent keyboards, and it’s pretty great. Listen to it below.
