After signing to Sub Pop, Australian beach-punks Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have given us “Julie’s Place,” a particularly quick follow-up to March’s seven-song mini-album Talk Tight. For those of us fearing the fast-approaching winter, the new track is a reminder that summer actually exists and that everything’s going to be alright. Interestingly, the shredding lead guitar on “Julie’s Place” takes a backseat, keeping the spotlight on the layered vocals and tight rhythm section. Check it out below.
