Watch Temple Of The Dog Reunite In Philadelphia
Short-lived Seattle grunge supergroup Temple Of The Dog reunited in Philadelphia last night, kicking off their first-ever tour in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their self-titled album at the Tower Theater. Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, and Matt Cameron blew through a two-encore, 22-song set that featured a whole lot of covers, including Harry Nilsson’s “Jump Into The Fire,” Free’s “I’m A Mover,” David Bowie’s “Quicksand,” Led Zeppelin’s “Achilles Last Stand,” Syd Barrett’s “Baby Lemonade,” the Cure’s “Fascination Street,” Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs,” and many, many Mother Love Bone covers.
