Dallas thrash shit-rippers Power Trip, a band who marry metal speed to hardcore intensity, are getting ready to release their sophomore album Nightmare Logic into a world where their high-velocity rage suddenly sounds that much more vital. They’ve just shared “Firing Squad,” the album’s absolutely brutal first single, which oscillates between fiery sprint and knuckle-dragging breakdown. It’s some intense shit, and it’s pretty great.
