Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi just played his first show with his side-project band CRX in August, and they’ve already released a major-label album and played late-night TV twice. Earlier this fall, they made their TV debut on Kimmel. And last night, they were the musical guests on James Corden’s Late Late Show. They played their Sabbathy stomp “Broken Bones,” and Corden’s directors got all fancy with the lights and the in-camera effects, filming the band in black-and-white or through weird purple filters. It doesn’t look a whole lot like the average late-night performance, and you can watch it below.
CRX’s debut album New Skin is out now on Columbia.
