Meatbodies – “Haunted History”

Meatbodies released last month “Creature Feature,” the lead single off their upcoming concept LP ALICE, and today we get our second taste of the new album. “Haunted History” is a perfectly crusty nugget of garage-rock, drenched in so much fuzz the bass and guitar become virtually indistinguishable. The drums sound like fissures cracking through the ground, while the solos are delivered with the force and timbre of a hurricane. California kicks out so much of this type of psychedelic sludge each year, but Chad Ubovich’s impeccable songwriting truly stands out amongst all the noise. Listen to “Haunted History” and check out the band’s upcoming tour dates below.
