Back in the ’90s, the short-lived Smokin’ Grooves tour attempted to unite everyone who mattered in rap under the banner of a festival with a name that explicitly referenced smoking weed. And now Miami’s Rolling Loud festival is doing something similar. In previous years, the festival only ran one day. This year, it’s expanded to three, taking over Bayfront Park 5/5-7. And its lineup is truly impressive. As headliners, it has Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Lil Wayne. Further down the bill, it also includes A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Migos, Mac Miller, Kevin Gates, Tyler, The Creator, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Lil Yachty, Action Bronson, Flatbush Zombies, Curren$y, Denzel Curry, Chief Keef, and many others. If you’re a rapper and you’re not playing this festival, your career might not be looking too bright right now. You can find more info on the festival here.
