Last week, Charli XCX teamed up with the veteran Japanese producer Yasutaka Nakata and the relentlessly strange and inventive J-pop star Kyary Pamyu Pamyu on a delightfully bugged-out new single called “Crazy Crazy.” And now all three of them have shown up, at least in some digitized form, in the song’s video. The clip revolves around the stars’ faces being superimposed over other people’s faces, and it also involves scantily clad young women pretending to perform the song in a practice studio. Kazuaki Seki directed the video, and while it’s not as brain-shattering as many of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s other videos, it will still leave you confused. Check it out below, via The FADER.
“Crazy Crazy” is out now on Warner Music Japan.
