Lifetime is really into Courtney Love. The network recently cast her in their upcoming Shakespeare adaptation A Midsummer’s Nightmare, and now she’s going to be starring in a TV movie about the infamous Menendez brothers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Abdi Nazemian is set to write and reality TV producers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato are attached to direct. The film will explore the “extreme abuse the brothers endured at their father’s hands, while their mother looked the other way,” leading the brothers to murder their parents in 1989. Love is playing their mother, Kitty Menendez, and production will begin in February in Vancouver.
