No Thank You – “Old News”

Peter Murray

No Thank You are releasing their debut album, Jump Ship, in a few weeks, and today they’re sharing the third single from it, following “Juicy J” and “The Unbearable Purposelessness Of Being.” “Old News” abandons the chugging momentum of the first two singles and opts for a weary slow burn, as Kaytee Della-Monica debates whether or not to forgive and forget what happened with a backstabbing friend: “Who am I kidding? I would love to see you again/ But I can’t tell the difference between straight lines and best friends,” she sings, the track slowly building up to a dull ache.
