For the past two nights, former Soft Boys frontman Robyn Hitchcock has been performing his 1981 debut solo album Black Snake Dîamond Röle in its entirety backed by New Jersey indie greats Yo La Tengo. Following that, he’s been playing an entire second set, and on Tuesday night at Rough Trade NYC, that set included a cover of the Velvet Underground’s “Run Run Run.” Watch fan-shot footage of that and the rest of the show, plus yesterday’s show at the Bowery Ballroom, below.
