Gucci Mane wouldn’t be Gucci Mane today if he hadn’t spent the late ’00s rapping over the dinky, insinuating beats of Atlanta producer Zaytoven. Gucci and Zay have been steadily working together once again ever since Gucci got out of prison last year; their Tiny Desk Concert together was transcendent. And today, Zay has released his own single “East Atlanta Day,” which features both Gucci and the bloodthirsty young Atlanta star 21 Savage. It’s basically a Gucci Mane song, and it’s a good one.
