Heaven are a new act associated with Italians Do It Better, and today they’ve debuted their first-ever song “It’s Not Enough” with a stylish video directed by Rene & Radka. The quartet apparently have a forthcoming EP and album, both of which were produced by Johnny Jewel, and “It’s Not Enough” certainly contains the Chromatics leader’s signature dreamy touch. It’s centered around a whispery female vocal that blends in with the song’s minimal, staticky synths: “It’s been so tough lately/ I need to see in your eyes/ Can’t take this much, baby/ I need to see in your eyes,” she sings. As with a lot of IDIB songs, it conveys a lot with the power of suggestion. Watch and listen below.
