Inter Arma – “The Paradise Gallows” Video
Inter Arma are old-school road warriors: They tour pretty much non-stop, and they’re a fucking transcendent live act. And they’re headed back on the road for the better part of spring and summer 2017 (including a leg with another really good band called Pallbearer), and to help get the word out, they’ve released a new video for “The Paradise Gallows.”
The track is 11 minutes and change, which is the length of a decent short film, so it’s fitting that this clip is subititled, “Film By Jordan Vance.” There’s not much in the way of narrative, though — it’s just a reel of apocalyptic-looking imagery that goes well with the apocalyptic-sounding song, the timing of which dovetails nicely with the actual apocalypse. Haha, I’m joking! But just in case the end is nigh, I’m gonna urge you to go see IA if they’re playing in or around your neck of the woods. You absolutely want to see them at least once (or once more) before the world ends. Here’s a reminder why.
