Pure X’s Jesse Jerome Jenkins is releasing his first solo album, Hard Sky, in a couple weeks, and so far he’s shared the title track and “De-pression” from it. Both are wistful and beautifully evocative pieces of music, and the same can be said for “Luck,” the third track we’ve heard from the album. Jenkins’ vocals here sound rootsy and resigned, and the whole thing passes by like a warm daydream. Listen below.
