Indie supergroup BNQT (pronounced Banquet), which includes members of Band Of Horses, Franz Ferdinand, Grandaddy, Midlake, and Travis, just released their debut album in April. Their first single, “Restart,” now has an accompanying video. It’s a fantastical trip that leads our protagonist crawling through the streets of a miniature version of his town after one drink at the bar. It’s equipped with everything — tiny bottles and chairs sit neatly inside the small replica bar. It’s a “Christmas Carol”-style narrative where he’s able to view his life from an outside perspective as he watches himself in different scenarios inside the tiny buildings. The premise is whimsical but gets a bit dark in its mysteriousness. Watch it below.
