Lens Mozer – “All My Friends”

Warm guitar nudges and a comfortable bass line invite you in to listen to Los Angeles musician Lens Mozer’s new single. It’s called “All My Friends,” but it’s not a cover of LCD Soundsystem (or Snakehips, for that matter). Rather, this “All My Friends” is a hypnotic and easygoing guitar-pop track in the tradition of Galaxie 500. Mozer observes to a fellow comrade, “I feel like you’re moving forward, taking chances getting older,” even though they feel the exact opposite. He advises, “Take your time and twist a little, take it in and dance in sunlight.” It’s pretty awesome advice — a fellow lover of reveling in vitamin D is always a necessary friend indeed. The song ain’t bad either, so listen below.

Lens Mozer’s debut LP will be out later this year via Plastic Jurassic.
