Stevie Wonder, Green Day, the Killers, the Lumineers and the Chainsmokers will all play this year’s Global Citizen Festival, which takes place 9/23 in New York’s Central Park. Pharrell Williams, Big Sean, Andra Day, and Alessia Cara are also slated to appear as “special guests” at the show. Global Citizen Fest is free to those who join Global Citizen initiatives and participate in certain actions. This year’s actions involve stopping cuts to US foreign aid, expanding access to education for every human being, and creating more opportunities for women and girls to succeed.
