As a producer, I was once told that using samples was cheating, so I recorded real drums. Then I thought that using programed drums was cheating, so I learned to play real drums. I then thought that using store-bought drums was cheating, so I learned to make my own. I then realized that using premade skins was also cheating, so I killed a goat and skinned it.
