Unofficially, Hot Girl Summer ended last week, on Labor Day. But technically, Hot Girl Summer is still going for another 11 days. So Maxo Kream got in just under the radar, taking advantage of the dying days of Hot Girl Summer to team up with Megan Thee Stallion and to make a video for “She Live.”

At the very beginning of the summer, Houston rap monster Maxo Kream teamed up with fellow Houstonian Megan Thee Stallion — one of the most exciting rap stars to come into her own this year — to release “She Live,” a banger of a single. “She Live” is a highlight from Maxo’s recent album Brandon Banks, one of the best rap LPs that 2019 has yet given us. And today, Maxo and Megan debut their pleasantly ridiculous “She Live” clip.

In the video, Maxo and Megan are the two stars of twin Bachelor/Bachelorette-type shows. Both of them spend the video contending with all the hot people who are competing to be their companions. I was waiting for the grand finale, where Maxo and Megan both figure out that they’re perfect for each other, but that never happens. Maybe they’re saving it for the Final Rose episode.
