Shut Up, Dude: This Week’s Best And Worst Comments

You all hanging in there? This week has been rough for everyone, even Gal Gadot, but I think we’ll make it through as long as we have wifi. Please stay at home! Park your ass, charge your phone, flatten the curve (dream about meeee). It’s the only way we will get out of this alive. Here’s Korn with a chill PSA encouraging you to shelter in place and have fun online.

Dude, I feel exactly the same. Like, I don’t recognize the commenters, and they clearly have prewritten comments and content which seems oddly masturbatory. For awhile I thought it was detracting from Tom’s work, because in all honesty I think the effort he is putting into that is incredible, and really deserves to be recognized. His research alone on Bonus Beats is lights out.

But once I thought about it, I decided I wouldn’t poke at those users. If anything, it makes me happy that it’s brought all of these extra eyes to Tom’s work. So instead I just read every post and almost always go on my way. I think it’s great that’s it’s opened up another world and brought attention to the site, no matter how weird I think those conversations are.

“ Fetch The Bolt Cutters, is a reference to the British procedural The Fall, in which Gillian Anderson plays a sex crimes investigator. Apple started kicking around ideas for it as early as 2012. At one point she was considering a concept album about her Venice Beach home, jokingly titled House Music. At another point she considered basing the album on the Pando, an interconnected network of trees in Utah. Ultimately she drew much of her inspiration from the #MeToo movement. No release date is mentioned in the article.” is a great album title.

He remains the most pretentious filmmaker alive. Undefeated. PT Anderson makes cinema for ppl that don’t understand anything about cinema but like to name drop at parties to seem intellectual and score pussy.

How about Drake collaborating with Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5 (hell, Sada Baby could also contribute a verse) for a sequel to “God’s Plan” in which they give away another million dollars to COVID patients without health insurance?
