Shut Up, Dude: This Week’s Best And Worst Comments

This week Jared Kushner predicted the US will be “really rocking” again in July. Has Jared Kushner heard the new Protomartyr album? Maybe he’s just emboldened by those photos of Danes rocking out to live music in their cars. Some parts of America are taking tentative, ill-advised steps to reopen today, but Imma stay inside and watch season three of Ozark again.

I have been anxiously waiting all weekend to bring this story to TNOCS. In the words of Dave Barry, I am not making this up.

On Saturday morning, I began work on reconstructing the deck in my backyard. But before I got started, there was one stubborn board from the old deck that I still had to remove. It was attached to the side of my house in such a way that I couldn’t get behind it to pry it out, to the point where I had just given up on the attempt during the previous workday, when I had been taking out all of the old boards.

So I settled in to take another crack at this board, and while I was doing so, my next door neighbors were doing work in their yard and they had their outdoor loudspeakers on, playing a satellite radio station of classic soul songs.

Anyway, I must have spent at least 15 minutes of effort prying away at the old deck board, but it finally gave way and I was able to remove it. And this little triumph just happened to occur right after the song on the radio next door changed to “Back Stabbers.” Just another reason why it’s forever a 10.

Wasn’t he begging for a billion dollars when he was ‘broke’ a few years ago with the promise that he could do amazing things to help the world with that kind of money?

They definitely spend more time doing that than learning how to play instruments or writing their songs.

kanye west made the greatest album of all time, one of the biggest sportswear brands and a billionaire dollars
that is unbelievable, granted he’s an egomaniac but
in 200 years when the ego is forgotten they might just worship him as the second coming
he’s got a better resume than walking on water and turning some water into wine

Here’s a much hotter take since that one is too basic: if you’re taking this time in history to continue being a snarky twat for no reason on message boards, may I interest you in some bat soup?
