SXSW 2010: Underwater Peoples Ranch @ 13813 Carpenter Lane, Manchaca, TX

D.C.-based label Underwater Peoples hosted their official unofficial showcase at a rented “swingers’ retreat” in Manchack, a small rural community a short drive out of downtown Austin. Great people, free BBQ, and the very best (feat Ezra Koenig) reason to get off the beaten path (6th St) on SXSW Day 1. I was not able to stay for all of this, but check the incredible lineup below and some of my photos of the scene. Video highlights TK.
