Klaxons – “Flashover”

Klaxons’ second album, following 2007’s much-ballyhooed Myths Of The Near Future, is tentatively titled Surfing The Void. It was produced by Korn/Slipknot/Limp Bizkit/Sepultura/Machine Head/At the Drive-In/Blood Brothers tweaker Ross Robinson who, via Twitter, said to expect some “very violent” and “melodic.” The first bit of feedback to emerge from the heavier sessions is “Flashover.” Bang your head?

Sounds like they paid attention to Humbug. No word on exactly when Surfing The Void’s out, but there are some scheduled live shows:

05/26 – Southend, England @ Chinnerys
05/27 – Colchester, England @ Colchester Arts Centre
