Gummy Awards

Best TV Show

This is the year of Tina Fey, so it’s no surprise that 30 Rock topped the first ever Best TV Show category. And with The Office in the #2 spot, Thursday must be your favorite night for television. The highest charting non-comedy is LOST, which remains great even though we think the show’s writers are as confused as we are. People found some historical inaccuracies in Mad Men, but that’s only because they cared enough to obsessively analyze it. The Wire was captivating in its finale season (we’ll miss you McNulty) and Gossip Girl is a genius. No reality shows here, but on the satirical news front The Daily Show With Jon Stewart (#10) beat out counterpart The Colbert Report. True Blood and Entourage were not far out of the top ten even though they are terrible.
