Last year’s Taiga was an unfortunately overlooked record from Boredoms drummer Yoshimi P-We’s side project, ambitious even by their erratic standards. If you’ve listened to “Umo” before and thought “well that’s a tribal beat,” this video is for you. Rather than feature the four lovely ladies of Japan’s OOIOO, the vid is full of footage of falling trees, prancing gazelles, and stop-motion figures banging the shit out of a communal drum.
