Thom Yorke Seeks Fans For Art Project

It takes one man to do a photo bomb, but if you want your intervention to be seen from space, you’ll need more bodies. Which is why Thom Yorke’s put out a call for 2,000 fans to help with him his Earth350 project. As he explained in a post, “the plan is to make images visible from the skies to remind those in Cancun that we are running out of time…” He’s not talking about Cancun’s Senor Frog’s-loving college kids and retirees — the city’s hosting the COP16/CMP6 United Nations Climate Change Conference from 11/29-12/10. (Remember, last time he went alone.) Yorke & Co’s action will take place in Brighton. It’ll be one of 16 such global Earth350 projects, all of which will be photographed by satellites on the eve of the UN meeting. Yorke’s call for volunteers:
