“Classic” Sounding Strokes LP4 Out By March

Nickel Eye Fraiture had a chat with BBC Radio, the pullquotes from which the NME has pulled thusly:

“Sonically, I feel it’s the album which should have been made between [2003’s] ‘Room On Fire’ and [2006’s] ‘First Impressions Of Earth’,” he said, adding that the album echoes the band’s “classic sound”.

He says it’s due March, before the Strokes pack their bags and attempt not to get along long enough to make good on a world tour’s worth of shows. Per Lolla last summer, that will be a good ticket to have.
