As we made painfully clear during World Cup season, we know little of this soccer, and our news updates on the sport’s attempt to woo the USofA revolve around the snore-worthy exploits of Posh and Becks. MLS is on it, though, knowing that the best way to kids’ hearts is through their iPods. So the US soccer organization has teamed up with Adidas to curate a spread of theme songs for each of the league’s teams, getting hometown bands to whip up some fight music. The list includes the Rapture (“Go New York!” to the tune of “Woo!…”), RJD2, Bad Brains, and the Polyphonic Spree (reprezenting Dallas, of course).

The Polyphonic Spree – “HOOPS Yes! (FC Dallas) (MP3)

“Where in the world do you think you can go/there’s no hiding from this Dallas, Texas babe.” Them’s fighting words, sorta … but Bad Brains’ “D!C!” screams are bona fide pee your jock strap material. We’d bet on the United. Grab ‘em all at Adidas.com, MLS theme song tracklist below. (Via P4K)
