Stereogum Does CMJ: Justice @ Terminal 5, NYC 10/20/07

It’d been too long since we’d last seen Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay — just about six months ago at Coachella, actually, before the now-iconic magic tees shifted their first shape — so a trek to Terminal 5 seemed in order. While some of us went in heavier, glammier directions while others caught up once more with Drive XV alum the Forms (post TK), Abbey made it two straight nights at T5, this time for Justice. “Mind blowing,” she said, adding “the entire night was at a fevered pitch. When was the last time a black sheet being pulled off of an amp tower sent a crowd into overdrive before the set even started? … You just can’t beat the sound quality, and it was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever experienced … Do whatever you need to do to get into the show tonight.” It’s at T5 one more time; info here. And should you go and see Ed Banger label head Busy P way up in the balcony, start chanting his name and pump fists. That’s how they did it Saturday night. Jump for more of Abbey’s shots.

ALSO: Kanye was there and blogged it, too. (Thanks, Sean)
