Lindsey Buckingham – “Seeds We Sow”

“Seeds We Sow” is the opening and title track to Lindsey Buckingham’s sixth solo album and third in five years. The fruitfulness of the Fleetwood Mac mastermind’s late period has been a welcome change of pace for fans who waited fourteen years for the follow up to 1992’s blistering Out Of The Cradle. “Seeds”‘ sound is classic post-Cradle LB, family-man poetry that winds around the trademark dizzying Travis picking of his Turner Model One. This album’s not the first time LB has handled production and mixing, but it’s being billed as the singer/songwriter’s most DIY project because he’s self-releasing for the first time. “I think [Seeds] is an excellent representation of what I do,” he says in its press materials. “This is very much from the inside out and I hope I never stop doing that.” Us too.
