Grouper – “Water People” & “Moving Machine”

The Portland resident Liz Harris releases a whole lot of gorgeously fragile ambient music as Grouper, and she often does it in tiny limited-run vinyl editions, without letting many people know. Her recent “Water People” b/w “Moving Machine” only came out in an edition of 500, and it’s all gone now. Like pretty much every other piece of Grouper music, it’s beautifully womblike zone-out music. The single is now out digitally, and the a-side is below.
