Neutral Milk Hotel frontman and human unicorn Jeff Mangum is curating a future edition of the All Tomorrows Parties festival, but that edition just got pushed a little further into the future. The Mangum-curated fest was supposed to come to Minehead, England 12/2-4, and its bill included people like Panda Bear, Superchunk, and the Olivia Tremor Control. But citing “a set of extremely unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances,” the ATP folks have postponed the festival; it’ll now go down 3/9-11.
In a statement on their website, the ATP organizers apologize profusely to anyone who had made travel plans around the December event. They also say that tickets for the December festival are still good for the March one. They’re hoping to book as many artists as possible from the December bill, and they’re also planning on adding more bands to the bill. As for the reason for the delay, they’re pretty vague on that whole thing. Hopefully, everything is well in ATP-land. Those guys know how to put on a festival.
