New Soft Pack – “Pull Out” (Live)

They were the Muslims, then they became the Soft Pack, but whatever the San Diego quartet are calling themselves, they remain one worth keeping an eye on. The band’s working on a full-length for Kemado and have begun posting primers and previews on their newly relaunched site. A notable recent addition is this live video for a new track called “Pull Out,” a scraggly lo-fi jam that hits with just the right parts SoCal surf punk and Richard Hell and the Voidoids. Cool visual treatment by Felipe Lima, too.

The Soft Pack is working on their Kemado debut, and we’ll assume “Pull Out” will be on it.
