Trucker Cap Sales Skyrocket In Louisiana … “I Hope You Can Handle It”

Britney Spears buys a “Do Me” cap at a gas station near her hometown of Kentwood. (Thanks Jon.)

Meanwhile, this week’s OK Magazine reveals Britney’s intention to be more involved in updating her website:

“I wrote a letter to all my fans that I think they need to read. We are going to put it on the website. It’s called The Letter Of Truth: I Hope You Can Handle It. It is the most amazing letter I have ever written. It was a life changing letter for me and I just want my fans to read it. Instead of my mom doing [the website] weekly, I will do it weekly. It really states where I am at in my life right now. It is making closure with a lot of things and I think this is my ultimate truth. I owe it to my fans, they need to read it. It will explain any questions they have ever had, it will explain everything. I was hesitant at first. I saw a play in NY called Wicked – it really inspired me to write it. It was the most amazing play. It was life changing for me.”

If you want to read The Letter Of Truth you have to join Brit’s fan club. No, I am not a member.

UPDATE: You can thank Eliza and Jess for guilt-tripping me into becoming member #195410 of the Britney Spears fan club. Here’s the scoop: “Britney is putting the finishing touches on an exclusive posting for the fan club site which will be put up tomorrow. All fans, stay tuned!” So check back here tomorrow, jackanapes!
