Pimped-punk Sheffield quintet the Long Blondes’ second album Couples has some good songs on it, though “Guilt”‘s our favorite. The video for the track finds front woman Kate Jackson going the Best In Show route in a song about deciding against a one-night stand. A few things: It’s fair to say people aren’t usually so fetchingly dressed at dog shows, those dogs running the slalom are impressive, and we’re not entirely sure how the song itself fits in with the pups unless she met the dude on the doggie circuit.
Visually, it kinda reminds us of this, only maybe less dramatic. If you want more LBs there’s also the pinwheel-powered clip for Couples’ opening track, “Century.”
You can also catch the five non-blondes on tour.
