It was pretty awesome seeing James kick his mic over, throw his guitar, and then yell at the staff. Good to see fire in him. \M/

Yes, because friends can't disagree with each other politically in a respectful manner. James' parents were Christian Scientists, and James for a long time blamed the death of his mom on religion ( The God that Failed). He's not a die hard Christian/Conservative but he probably is centre right on the political spectrum. He is pro military but questions the way we in which we are pro war (Disposable Hero's, One) enjoy's hunting, and probably has quite a bit of other conservative values. I remember in some article during the last election that he had a McCain /Palin sign on his lawn, but I'm a little unsure if he actually supports any of the candidates running for this election. He also spends most of his time in San Fran so he's probably a fair bit liberal on other issues. In other words, James Hetfield has some opinions you might agree with and some other opinions that you might not agree with. He's a well rounded individual. TRUMP 2016

"They say humor is the ray of light that illuminates the evil or whatever, but I was reading that in Germany and Adolf Hitler times, everybody was making fun of Hitler. Every cartoon was against Hitler, there were comedy troupes doing sketches about Hitler being an idiot with a stupid mustache and what a stupid little idiot he was. So anyway, there goes that theory about the power of comedy. It doesn't work at all. That's seriously how I feel about Trump. It sounds very cruel to say about a person, but when the country is responding positively to rough comments — and those are just the ones he'll say, kind of anti, everything is anti, against, stuff like that — well, all I know is that I’m going to make sure my kid has his Canadian citizenship." -Norm Macdonald

Ya, I thought this was just an extremely silly sketch. I didn't see the, "mock’s Hollywood’s obsession with cheap biopics and the industry’s tendency to shove white guys in leading roles whenever they possibly can" social commentary that the writer of this article thought it did. The last few biopics about black musicians didn't have too many white guys in the main roles. This was just a harmless and funny sketch.

This is a great tune I'm loving all the clips and this song sounds great in full. Probably won't be as good as blue and pinkerton, but could be the 3rd best.

Most bands and artists "semi-remanufacture" old riffs. I would say this riff is much closer to "blue orchid" than it is to "seven nation army."
