I wouldn't consider myself much of a Childish Gambino fan, but this article seems pretty silly. Control was a recorded and deliberate verse on a track that also featured fucking Jay Electronica. This was Donald rapping at a show in Australia. Comparing the weight of the two is kind of silly, and as has been mentioned previously, just seems like an excuse to shit on someone this sect of the Internet seems to enjoy shitting on.

I didn't love Diane Young initially either, but it's grown on me a whole lot. I've been listening to the record non-stop and I honestly feel like this is their best work yet.

Don't get how everyone doesn't love the pitched up vocals. Gonna be humming that shit all day.

I love the pitched up vocals during the chorus, so I'd suggest you guys wait to see if they grow on you.

I'm more annoyed with Domo for botching that Walls of Jericho/Boston Crab than anything else, because he's referenced wrestling in songs a bunch of times and shit. He should know better.

You can't really compare Jay-Z to Odd Future. Domo 23 is Tyler just goofing around and being stupid, and it's totally fine if you're not into that. I'm more interested in hearing the full version of Bimmer though, that shit sounds so pretty.

I've listened to six times in a row now and I think it's kind of perfect. I'm probably wrong, but whatever.

Wasn't expecting to read this today, but good for him/soon-to-be her.

I responded to that "her name is my password" line as well. As a whole, the record is really flawed, but I think that's the point; I feel like it's a record for fans of Tyler as a person (Tyler himself included) as the songs are all VERY introspective and shit. Analog is probably my favorite song, and I think Golden is powerful as hell. Also, Bitch Suck Dick is great.
