You always gotta stay strapped when you're..... *checks notes* Going to a party at Kylie Jenner's house?!?!?!?!? Lol....fuck this dude
Actually, just gonna post it right here https://youtu.be/sSjtGqRXQ9Y
I haven't seen either movie, but I'm going to predict Riz gets an Oscar nom for this and Daniel Kaluuya gets nominated for his portrayal of Fred Hampton in 'Judas and The Black Messiah'. That would be cool. If you haven't seen a trailer for 'Judas...", google that shit right now.
Not the 1st time Noel has produced a more water downed version of Ian Brown's ideas
Agreed. 'Thirteen' is now just outside the top 5 most eye-roll inducing cover song choices: Hotel California Hallelujah Knockin' on heaven's door Imagine Blackbird That being said, this is quite lovely and I love all the artists involved.
Obviously fuck Bill, but Stevie Wonder’s cameo On The Cosby Show around this time was legendary #JamminOnTheOne

Kudos to Harry Belafonte for sticking with the technical glitch bit all these years later
Fuck yes https://media4.giphy.com/media/Y0joHbLVmIAwUnJpcW/giphy.gif?cid=82a1493b6xfdzb2xo9ptr0w75nmforf56qnb9aphkore4ft4&rid=giphy.gif
Has anyone else listened to this Sweeping Promises album that dropped last week? Shit fucking rips. On the post-punk spectrum https://youtu.be/X9CdIc37tRQ
Weird Fact: Christopher Nolan is colorblind I'm not sure if that affects the visual palette of his films or not, just thought it was worth mentioning. I agree that Nolan is a little overrated, but I definitely would not call him a hack.

All jokes aside, this and Jack's Gretsch triple jet prototype are hands down the coolest things on here and should raise A LOT of money
I hope they do a reissue of 'It's Time For' at some point (or at least get it on streaming!). 'It's You' is one of my all time fav Richman ditties https://youtu.be/M_NOWnHYN9E
A guitar solo is always made substantially cooler if the guitarist has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. That's just rock and roll science.
Nude Party is consistently underrated My guess on this Stones/WOD thing is that it's just a Adam Granduciel remix of the song, but who knows?
I couldn't find a video of it, but the Michael Scott version of this from The Office is an all-timer
Surprised that Waxahatchee's 'Lilacs' didn't crack the top 10

I'm not a crazy obsessive or anything, but have certainly listened to my share of Stones bootlegs, and this is the first I've heard of this
I think the Tom was just referring to this time period as Jimmy Page's peak, not necessarily his performance on this song.
Metz are definitely the "not fucking around crew"
David Berman was a genius, but it’s not like he didn’t have any cringeworthy lyrics in his catalogue. He certainly did, though he probably had a higher batting average than most

Anyone not voting for this is just lying to themselves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deeBIrzGLwQ
Seriously though, this blows. There aren’t too many future potential albums I was looking forward to more than a Madlib produced Black Star record. Hopefully it sees the light of day at some point. Fingers crossed
When the label head gets the price tag to clear all Madlib’s samples https://media0.giphy.com/media/umMYB9u0rpJyE/giphy.gif?cid=82a1493b96db494c1e618bba8e0ac2ee2950bace6fec6eba&rid=giphy.gif
Ya, ‘Feel You’ is definitely THE jam
100 years Ago is an all-time Stones deep cut My other fav Stones hidden gems: Hand of Fate / Jiving Sister Fanny / Tops / Sway
The song is up on streaming services now (at least it is on Apple, not sure about Spotify) if you wanna hear it sans effects.

Ya, that's a tasty combo. Feel like these will both work well as summer day drinking/grilling soundtracks

It Still Moves (2003) and Z (2005) are probably your best entry points as far as studio albums, but the easiest might be to dive into the live album Okonokos (2006) which focuses on the 2 records mentioned above, and is a good example of why MMJ are the best live band of the last 20 years.
The deep dark web says The Waterfall II will be out 8/28 on ATO. I was hoping we might get that new single today....fingers crossed. There is also talk that this is more of b-sides, tide over release and they have another new album that they finished in March that they will release and tour behind if and when Covid subsides.
