Zooropa was the first album I bought with my own money. I was ten years old and hadn't mastered english yet so the cover was what caught my attention among the other tapes in the Music Plus at the Stonewood mall. I'm glad I'm not the only person whose whole outlook changed because of this album.

My first intro to PJ Harvey was To Bring You My Love when i was in, like 8th grade and I remember thinking that it was an album written by a monster in the voice of the person it was chasing down and about to tear up and devour. But Rid of Me reminds me of my friend who, in a fit of late-20th-century teenage sentimentality, lamented "This is what girls feel when we break their hearts..."

you should not have allowed comments on this post. that being said, I was mad that White Light/ White Heat was number 10 until I saw that Sister Ray was number 1. i take back all the mean things i muttered under my breath while watching these youtubes.
