As Tom mentioned, if you kinda let it drift into the background, you will randomly be pulled in by some amazing parts, but mostly this is not good. I will playlist it and cut it down to like 9 songs. Also, whyyyyy did they cut The Weeknd dueting with the full choir down to just one line? It sounded amazing from the webcasts.
Definitely feels like a lot of ideas just chucked at a wall. I'm sure it will be somewhat popular due to personalities involved, but nowhere near either of these artists' peaks.
The first half is some weird happy inverse of Double Negative (which was my fav record of 2018) and that back half is great I am very excited about this.
In '06 when i went to Radiohead my first time at Bonnaroo (still the most magical concert experience ive ever had) Beck was on before them and said "bet the boys wont play this one" and did a somber solo acoustic version of 'Creep' which was a very cool moment for me.
