This is my new favourite picture of two musicians hanging out together.
Album of the week to an EP? Justice for AnCo!!
I did not diss Taylor Swift and I’ve never dissed her…— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) February 12, 2016
Mavis Staples and Vince Staples at the same festival? I picture them touring together as the "That Was Easy" tour
Still holding out for "Good Ass Job"
Apparently Slime Season 3 is still on the way?

We're finally going to get that CDQ of Wolves. Thank Yeezus.

Canada is part of the world too :(
These ones deserve at least an honourable mention: - Trouble Knows Me (Madlib & Sam Herring) - S/T - Mura Masa - Someday Somewhere - DJ Spinn - Off That Loud - Panda Bear - Crosswords - Petite Noir - The King Of Anxiety
Love this list, best one of any music site so far. My top 10 are: 1. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly 2. Oneohtrix Point Never - Garden of Delete 3. Grimes - Art Angels 4. Jamie xx - In Colour 5. Neon Indian - VEGA INTL Night School 6. Father John Misty - I Love You, Honeybear 7. Death Grips - The Powers That B 8. Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell 9. Jessica Pratt - On Your Own Love Again 10. Julia Holter - Have You In My Wilderness
Anyone else hoping for a surprise Black Friday album drop? I mean, it's out there now, so why not let the rest of the world hear it?!
After re-watching the "Tuesday" video, I'm convinced iLoveMakonnen is Jordan Peele's alter-ego. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B-qGUtGWsAAnQcW.jpg
WTF is that 10th track? Unless it's a playful cover of Madvillain's "Rainbows", I don't want anything to do with that. Actually, ESPECIALLY if it's a Madvillain cover, I don't want anything to do with it.
I want to slap his face.
Now *that's* what I call a live TV show performance!
The black and white makes it so much more menacing.

(sigh) Time to pack up and move to Toronto or some place that won't make me realize how annoying it is to be an Ottawa citizen.
I remember a few years ago I got to see Half Moon Run, Death Grips, and Bjork on the same day at Bluesfest... Nothing gold can stay.
Never been more embarrassed to be a resident of Ottawa. Our festivals are honestly awful.
So we've had Poison Season in August, now Slime Season. I'd say it's time to forget about Yeezy Season.
Someone described her as a "little Latino Bjork" and I thought that was pretty spot-on.
Good read. I agree that the album is chock-full of goodies. Some work, others don't. Doesn't make this album any less special. It's an incredible time for rap music nonetheless. And can we all agree that "Genocide" is fucking amazing? I mean, that Kendrick verse, c'mon!
"(S) HE SAID / (S) HE SAID" is a definite SOTY contender.
I was listening to "Futura" just yesterday and thought, "Damn, I need some new Battles in my life". What do you know, 2015 delivers yet again.
That new verse at the beginning was absolute FIRE
1) Jamie xx - I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times) 2) Mura Masa - Lovesick Fuck 3) Kanye West - Only One 4) Kendrick Lamar - Wesley's Theory 5) Father John Misty - Chateau Lobby #4 6) Sufjan Stevens - Fourth Of July 7) Shamir - On The Regular 8) Son Lux - Change Is Everything 9) Viet Cong - Silhouettes 10) Jessica Pratt - Back, Baby
Kendrick: "When shit hits the fan, is you still a fan?"
I was hoping for a heavier track similar to the first "Woebegone Wanderers" and more jargon about cock and balls but this is still lovely to hear.
Me too! I used to convince myself that Veckatimest was my favourite because it had "Two Weeks" on it, but after listening to Yellow House again, there's no contest.
Same thing happened to "Random Words In Chinese"
It's here, it's beautiful, and I am a puddled mess of joy.
I'm finna bang this bitch the FUCK out!
To quote Pavement: "Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God Oh my God, oh your God, oh his God, over God"
The lyrics send shivers down my spine... it's like some freaky narrative: "i live down the street from you've noticed me i've never seen you wonder what the fuck i do listen up you nosy bitch listen close" "he slurs use at your discretion its been a pleasure stefan" So noided for Jenny Death's full release!!
