Same man don’t worry . I listened to it and I thought it was pretty sweet and sincere. I don’t get the downvotes, It really is all like mean girls up in here, like , ‘‘we DON’T like Kanye, and if you have anything nice to say about him YOU CAN’T SIT WITH US’. Kanye is a fuck up sometimes up but ay aren’t we all, cmon move on guys.
Haha ok
Likewise mate :)
Srsly tho please don’t downvote me anymore this is starting to hurt
Resentment may be too strong of word.. You know how some people seem to get off a little on hating something and talking about how much they do? Especially when everyone else likes it so you have hear it all the time ? This is how this reads for me. It’s a vent in the disguise of a review . Maybe find something worthwhile and challenging to write a scathing critique about, like the new Neil Young and the crazy horses album (?!) in these music circles Ed is an easy target . It’s boring and predictable. Even if his music truly does suck and I just don’t know it yet because I only have AM radio, I think this review can suck an egg. I will not back down on my word however blighted by the slings and arrows of downvotes and this cross examining that could very well go on for all of this week if we both let it. That is all I have time for, I suspect I am beginning to get a little too invested in this argument and at risk of sounding like an trivial idiot if not already one . Long Live Ed- love you or hate you, you are still their obsession big guy, truly inspired @ you.
Yeah about as cliched as the guy calling out popular opinion as cliche and saying not much else
I just think it’s a crummy critique .It’s pretty clear the writer strongly dislikes Ed’s music and the bias shows where the resentment is too obvious and the whole piece just goes lame. I don’t think it’s worthy of such resentment . If it has affected so many people, doesn’t make it automatically good but you can’t deny there must be something there ? I know like 4 of his songs and I must say I been a bit touched by them
I just think this music criticism reaches a level of spiteful snobbery that goes beyond subjective dislike that benefits who? Those trawling the internet for hate pieces on popular musicians to feed off and add their own snide two cents to the dog pile ? whose music obviously means a lot to the greater public but considered low brow in this critic community therefore unworthy of any artistic credit. That just don’t add up to me . I don’t even like the The Big Guy that much tbh but that attitude shits me is all .
Truly uninspiring review, heard it all before. Ed Sheehan probably has more musical talent contained within one measly ginger hair on his ballbag than ‘critic’ might ever. I know it’s your job mate but ease up on the big guy, 150 million people who have owned or own one of his records can’t be that wrong can they ? Horses for courses .
