People couldn't take him seriously as a shithead rapper, but there's definitely a niche for him as a shithead pop-punker.
I saw Fiddlehead play at my school way before I even knew who they were and they were great.

Amon Tobin's great, definitely one of the best musicians I found through Toonami/Adult Swim commercials.
I can't believe Charles destroyed his own band because he doesn't want to read another niche chart post.
I was today years old when I found out that The Body & BIG|BRAVE's new album got pushed back to next week.

Too much money, whackjob parents, an awful name and a broken home? I don't think any child has ever been more destined for a serial killer origin story than theirs.
As a youngin' who had a mandatory Nirvana phase in middle school (and a somehow even more regrettable RHCP phase in elementary school), the 90s always fascinated me as an anything goes time for culture where shit was thrown endlessly at a wall to see what'd stick, even if the Gen X/Millennial hagiography started to wear on me after a while. How a seemingly sane major label could ever think Melvins and the Meat Puppets could ever make Nirvana money is still beyond me.
Nobody's forcing us to pretend that Coldplay's good, guys.
I feel like you can say it about a lot of Conscious Hip Hop, but The Score and The Miseducation... have some pretty questionable bars.
This is maybe the least surprising kickoff for a Fugees reunion tour I've ever seen.
"He may have stolen money from his own people, but the man can write a goddamn song!"
Billy Joel was a COINTELPRO plot to discredit the 70s Singer/Songwriter movement dedicated to subverting American values.
Why does Damon have John Travolta's haircut in The Fanatic? https://www.indiewire.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/THE-FANATIC-John-Travolta-e1558105314887.jpg
Every time I see these flashcards, it always vaguely feels like a threat.
ALT-J being outclassed by two stoners eating rice cakes is one of the greatest murders of the 2010s.
