have always thought "Will Yip" was a great name for a producer and also this song is great
does anyone know who the guitarist is? he was so fun to watch and seems so familiar but I can't find anything
This band is good! that's all
I need to hear that WP cover ahhh
because my least favorite part of a Dolly Parton song is the fact that she can sing
I feel like with Freedom he was starting to feel a little out of place on that roster.
First of all! Ed is weirdly more attractive as a dumb vampire than a human. SECOND! Of all, while the entire song blows, the most laughable part are the things he lists off as ~bad habits~, such as TALKING TO STANGERS HE BARELY KNOWS! Ed! Do not talk to strangers you BARELY know! Only talk to strangers you know very well!!!
this video reminds me of that fighting game where the fighters are dinosaurs and the song also is good, a success
damn this white girl has completely lost any clue she may have once had
he has several other songs with hundreds of millions of streams. does he owe those streams to his online presence and the success of Old Town Road? probably. does that delegitimize them as hits? no.
There was a writer recently at SG who seemed to have a less negative take on the Strokes/Julian and I was disappointed when his byline wasn't on this
that week seems like filler host/guest tbh
he's done so many great televised performances. ugh
I wonder if people will dig up old allegations of Riz abusing women now or after he wins?
things that should be left in the past: you policing language bazinga!!!
This made me check out the former singer. HIs Wikipedia is obviously written by him/a huge fan of his, and he doesn't even have Yuck in his "associated acts" section. Weird that he'd want to distance himself so completely. Also, I just had to log in 5 times before I actually logged in. WTF does that continue being so tedious??
Damn, this is hitting me hard. As a run-of-the-mill gay, I don't claim to understand how SOPHIE's bravery, empathy, and ingenuity opened possibilities for our trans siblings, but SOPHIE's music was truly remarkable in the way it fucked with genre boundaries while still being hooky as hell. The themes of OOEPUI are so beautifully expressed in a totally new way. It is devastating that SOPHIE is gone, that SOPHIE's voice will no longer be pushing music toward new frontiers while bringing everyone along. And so goddamn young!
I like this song and it's remarkable how the aesthetic of the group has barely shifted yet feels entirely on-trend. If they do this right, they could prolly be as "big" as they ever were.
