You're right about the Nothing Revolutionary. This music has already been written. I'd rather have the originals reunite for a concert, than see a bunch of partial-inspired kids place music from a generation they know little about.
If it's retro, I wanna hear a modern-day twist.
I agree with that breakdown. We get it, songwriters. It was unexpected, yet expected. We've all seen it before.
I think they should forget about that vocal part, and start over from scratch. First, construct a nice melody and then add the harmonies. If you're going to have atonality in part of the song, you better balance it with a well thought-out melody.
Throwing every chord progression from the beatle's discography into a song. Still, it's interesting because it throws you around. The problem is, if you write more than one song, then it's going to all sound the same.
He's talented as hell. He just needs to focus more.
Seeing the Dam Builders mentioned just brought a smile to my face.
I would still love to see an artist do a 50 states thing. I should learn how to play and write songs, then I can be the first.
You do not sound like a fun person to hang around with.
Experiencing things live is usually a lot more exciting than a single sitting with a CD. Because of this, I'd love to see an album performed in it's entirety.
nerd...
Cue the untraditional time signature, the guitar/bass unison, and the high screaming. I really wanted to like this, but it sounds like a b-side of Superunknown. I'm glad they're together, and I hope they create a really good album.
I've seen them twice, bought physical copies of their albums. I still don't know all their names. Hell, I don't even know what they guy behind Thom (in the first picture, with the necklace) does for the band? Tunes the guitars?
I suck as a radiohead fan. :(
Love the band, but I hated them when they first came out. Thom looked like a pretty boy version of Kurt Cobain to me.
It was that guitar-attack noise on Creep that got me hooked though.
