scrolling through that #1 comment felt like i'd descended into the realm of nightmare
you know what really "drags"? a 9-paragraph comment.
yeh, when you've been in Cats, pretty funny that you'd take being called Usher as an insult.
some big Twin Peaks energy with the video. Mike Hadreas's childhood babysitter was the actor who played Ronette Pulaski. the owls are not what they seem (the placenta falls to the floor).
holy shit, xmazzz SUD. what a time to be alive. or undead if you're blochead.
here's hoping the new commenting interface, if it is ever a thing that will functionally exist, allows us to mute a specific user...
he's literally in the film business. if any accusation is warranted, I'd say that he's overly familiar with critical consensus and proceeds accordingly. like, he watched Drive My Car not because he really loved Hamaguchi's previous films, but because it was acclaimed. but having a world leader being a film/music/book nerd isn't a bad thing; if it can inspire one impressionable person to listen to Mdou Moctar, etc, then it's awesome.
count that shit down! love it.
so, wait, is Stupid Asshole a conceptual account and/or art project and/or comic bit? where the name says it all? if so great work, really living up to it.
yeh, i feel like Licorice Pizza is wildly enjoyable and pleasingly messy, yet it's pretty easy to make a case this is PTA's worst film. which is less a commentary on the film, more about the filmography that preceded it. young Haim is incredible in it.
wasn't that like 2 years ago? or is my brain now just temporal soup?
i finally got around to reading Carl Wilson's Let's Talk About Love and yeh it's really good should've done it like 15 years ago. also read Shirley Collins' two memoirs, love Shirls. maybe that's it? but Monolithic Undertow is sitting on my bookshelf, sure it's going to treat me sweet when i crack it open...
it's like a trio of Ryan Goslings.
of Sandwich? The Pearl Monroe? My Name Is...?
so i guess you're not a Player Of Songs then...
i clicked expecting CRJ content, now i'm sad.
what about spending seven-and-a-half hours?
Adele is a small secluded hollow, (implying also) grassy, park-like, usually partially-wooded valley.
the system really needs to change. it can change. Brass Against have shown us a different kind of streaming model.
love ol' André 3km.
hopefully to truly fill the baseball void, the Primal Scream record goes for 5 hours and features interminable breaks between every song.
hey Stereogum can I put in an early entry for your giveaway of a pair of rollerblades signed by Fred Durst? thanks.
hey Stereogum mods, I'm having problems loading this page correctly. i'm on Chrome, Mac OS 12. it seems to be saying that Kanye West has released one of the best songs of the week, which suggests that something isn't working properly. is this a bug related to the aborted new commenting interface?
that 2nd Grade cover of Hatchie is like juicing up an already potent earworm
this is now the total norm. blame the attention-economy.
also known as Maple Glider by people who can spell.
warm wishes to the neglected Maple Glader, whose sweet, sad debut LP has kept me reassuring company through this dark, dark year.

when i first read that i thought you had scored tickets to sleep with Matt Sweeney and Bonnie Prince Billy, which would've really been taking fan-service to the next level.
