I'm not going to pretend to be a jazz scholar, but this group's press materials refer to them as a "free jazz collective," so who am I to disagree?

Agreed that Amala was a better album than Hot Pink (though as I said, "Juicy" is probably my favorite Doja Cat song)

I am admittedly not the target audience but to me it's obviously a (little) monster jam

IMO yes. I initially thought they had played it too safe and were just repeating themselves there, but S=seeing them live last year I was surprised at how many of the songs from LP2 hit like classics. I thought for sure some of them must be covers and then when I looked over the setlist it was like, no, these are just really good Haim songs I slept on the first time around.

You're right, but I don't think Offset had a speaking role, just Quavo.

I like Ultraviolence and NFR about the same. Both start out incredibly strong and grow a little tiresome in the second half. Some of my younger colleagues have informed me that Born To Die will always be her masterpiece, so: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not liking I'm Wide Awake is insane to me. I have been shocked to learn that "disliking I'm Wide Awake" is a popular position. To me it's several marathons better than anything else he's ever done. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. Not that I dislike his other work, I'm Wide Awake just hits me deeper than the rest.
