Hey, I love Kevin Morby. And you know who else I love, you folks. I’ve been so under water this school year that I’ve had no time to check in with my real family as much as I like. But something happened yesterday that reminded me of my roots. John Maus followed me on Twitter.

That’s sad. However you feel about his music (and you should feel very good about his first few albums) this was Alex’s brother, and I’m sad for his whole family.
I mean, come on. This song changed my life like few others. In fact, it changed many people’s lives. Just not moments like that anymore. This is history and will live forever.
It’s a shitshow. I’m hanging in. Extremely tired.
Can’t wait to have time to just talk music again. We had to rewrite all the curriculum to accommodate virtual learning and IEP’s. So much mind numbing work.

Is it ok that I’m kinda pissed RBG didn’t retire in Obama’s first term. I mean, I understand that The Supreme Court should not technically having any political leanings (tho that’s completely a joke) but reproductive rights and basic human rights aren’t a political position.
Obviously she was great American. There’s just a part of me who wishes she didn’t roll the dice.
Of course the day my computer totally quits on me and I get wrapped up sexting for most of the afternoon. I mean, that part was actually pretty nice. It’s COVID! What the hell am I supposed to do? Don’t judge.

I’d say Koi no Yokan is my personal favorite, but it does seem fairly pointless to rank when they are all so good.
Still, don’t sleep on Deftones, the album. It is definitely top shelf.
I enjoy the music of the Fleet Foxes. As a fox myself (tho one with a crippling addiction to amphetamines) I too reflect on the bucolic nature of existence. My fox body is ready.
